Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Go Book Yourself collects when you sign in, design a book nook, and generate images. We keep this in plain language so you can decide what to share.
Your account
Sign-in is handled by Supabase Auth using Google. We receive your Google account id, email, name, and profile photo so we can keep you signed in and show your name in the studio. We do not receive your Google password.
Projects you save
When you save or generate in the studio, we store project files in Amazon S3 and a small project index in our Supabase database. That includes prompts, uploaded reference photos, generated artwork, and the layout of your nook. Only your signed-in account can list or open those files.
Third-party image generation
When you generate or upload images for generation, your prompt and any reference photos you attach may be sent to a third-party AI provider so it can create the image. We do this because the models do not run on our own servers.
Providers we may use include:
- OpenAI
- xAI / Grok
- OpenRouter, which may route a request to models from those providers or others such as Flux or Seedance
The provider used for a given generation may vary. Compare-models mode sends the same prompt to several providers at once. First-draft agent runs and later studio generations use the same kinds of providers.
Those providers process the content you send under their own terms and privacy policies. Do not upload images or write prompts you are not comfortable sharing with a third-party AI service.
Usage limits
We count daily image generations so we can operate the product fairly: 25 studio generations and 25 first-draft generations for new projects, resetting at midnight UTC. Counts are stored with your account.
Analytics
The welcome-page tour may record anonymous watch events so we can tell whether the guide is useful. That is separate from your signed-in project data.

Questions about this policy can be sent through the same channel you used to reach the product. We will update this page when our providers or storage practices change.
